Project Plan Development
Within 60 days of signing your contract, your chosen electronic
medical record (EMR) provider will develop a project plan with
input from your clinic and the Physician Office System Program
(POSP). This plan:
- Governs the implementation of your EMR solution under the
physician-vendor agreement.
- Documents activities required for the implementation of your
EMR solution, who is responsible for performing which activities
and when the activities are to be completed.
- Helps all parties to understand requirements, manage
expectations, review and manage risks, escalate issues and ensure
that the required resources are engaged for a successful
implementation.
