Initial Implementation Status Review

The 120-day period following the go-live of the electronic medical record (EMR) solution is the stabilization and tuning period. You and your chosen EMR vendor will work together to resolve any outstanding issues with your EMR solution.

Within 30-60 days of Milestone 3 (Go-Live), you will reach Milestone 4 - the Initial Implementation Status Review. This review will look at the performance of the new EMR solution and any training or system needs that your EMR vendor needs to address. This review is conducted by the Physician Office System Program (POSP) with the support of you and your EMR vendor.
 
Milestone 4 is reached when the deficiency list is created and a review of the list is conducted.
