Select Vendor and Sign Approved Contract
The Physician Office System Program (POSP) helps your clinic
through the steps of choosing to using your new electronic medical
record (EMR) solution. The first step to choose an EMR from one of
POSP's three qualified service providers(EMR vendors)--MD Physician
Services, Med Access and Wolf Medical Systems.
POSP resources provide information, tools and support to help
you choose an EMR solution that best meets your clinic's specific
requirements.
Once you have chosen an EMR solution, a Physician-Vendor
Agreement, or contract, will be drafted by your chosen EMR
vendor. A second agreement, the POSP Physician Participation
Agreement, outlines the legal obligations physicians must meet
to receive reimbursement funding and POSP support services.
Milestone 1 is reached upon signing of the
Physician-Vendor Agreement.
