The Physician Office System Program's (POSP's) Program
Guidelines state that physicians have up to six months to submit
invoices for reimbursement on VCUR 2006 electronic medical record
costs. Because this was a new process, POSP has allowed all
eligible invoices to be submitted dating back to January 1,
2010.
Invoice-based reimbursement has now been in place for over a
year, therefore, we will begin enforcing the six month cut-off
dates.
- Costs incurred between January 2010 and August 2010 must be
submitted no later than Monday, February 28, 2011 to be eligible
for reimbursement.
- Costs incurred in September 2010 must be submitted by March 31,
2011, and so on.
